Father’s Day

This month, we celebrate a holiday to honor fathers everywhere. But June 18th shouldn’t be an isolated event this year. We hope you all take time on a daily basis to show your dads, grandpas, stepfathers, and all father figures just how important they are! Let’s all take time to recognize the sacrifices these men make every day for their families every day. From going to work all day to caring for the kids when you get home, fathers have an important job. We know many kids think the world of their dads, so why not take some time to help teach them the skills they need to brush their teeth correctly? What began as a boring chore will become something cool, a way in which children can feel as grown up as their fathers! Good dental hygiene is a vital part of a person’s health, so the earlier you begin to care for your mouth, the better! Brushing teeth after meals, flossing once a day, and periodic visits to the dentist can not only improve health, but also strengthen the bond of trust that a child experiences when learning from a loved one. When a toddler sees his dad brushing his teeth, he will naturally want to try it too! This is a great opportunity for Dad to show him how to properly care for his teeth, so his child can feel important while learning a valuable life skill as well! No doubt about it, fathers everywhere have a very special role in the family. So what are your plans to show your dad how much you love him? Are you planning an elaborate cookout, complete with sports, games, and tons of friends? Or would he prefer something more low-key, like just one night at home where he isn’t asked to fix anything? We’d love to hear your ideas for showing dads the appreciation they deserve!
