Tim Warise, DDS

Dr. Tim Warise graduated from Watertown High School in 1981, and attended Middle Tennessee State University receiving a Bachelor’s degree in 1986. Dr. Warise and his wife Jacklyn married in 1985 and moved to Memphis while he attended the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry.

Jacklyn, having recently graduated from Western Kentucky University dental hygiene school in 1985, practiced dental hygiene in a busy family dental practice in Collierville, a suburb of Memphis. Dr. Warise obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989 and joined the practice where his wife worked, as an associate. He spent a year there before moving back to the middle Tennessee area to be close to family and friends. They chose Smyrna to establish their practice and on February 2, 1991 opened the doors to their previous location on Enon Springs Road.

After eleven years of serving the dental needs of Smyrna they moved to the new Mayfield Drive building.

Dr. Warise is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and the 4th District Dental Society. He is also a member of the International Association for Orthodontics and American Orthodontic Society; organizations devoted to promoting excellence in orthodontic education, clinical skills, and research among general dentists, pedodontists, as well as orthodontists.

Dr. Warise developed the “Pivot Arm Appliance” to orthodontically upright severely tipped mandibular second molars and co-wrote “Controlled, Rapid Uprighting of Molars: A Surprisingly Simple Solution-The Pivot Arm Appliance” in the Journal of General Orthodontics describing its design and application.

He enjoys fishing, hunting and flying radio control airplanes in his spare time.

Matt S. Warise, DDS

Dr. Matt Warise graduated Magna Cum Laude from Volunteer State Community College with an Associates degree in Radiology in 1990. He completed his Bachelors of Science degree in 1997 at Tennessee State University. He then pursued his degree in Dentistry at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Warise is a member of the American Dental Association. He is married to Lita who teaches in the nursing program at Middle Tennessee State University. He enjoys fishing and biking in his spare time. He then pursued his degree in Dentistry and graduated in 2003 from the University of Tennessee.

Sharon Smith, RDH Sharon graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene in 1997. She has been practicing in our office since June, 2000. She is also certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration and monitoring. Sharon and her husband, Scotty have 3 children Carter, Conner, and Kennedy. Sharon enjoys shopping, traveling, and watching her kids play soccer.

	Cathy Dennis, RDH Cathy graduated from dental hygiene school in 1976. She has been with our office since 1993. She also has experience as a dental assistant. She is married to Doug and they have 3 daughters, Sarah, Amy, and Julie. And are the proud grandparents to Thomas and Catherine. Cathy and Doug like to spend their time riding motorcycles.
	Jacklyn Warise, RDH Jacklyn has been a registered dental hygentist with over 25 years of experience. She assists the doctors with treatment presentations. She is certified in restorative and prosthetics as well as local anesthetics and nitrous oxide administration. She and Dr. Tim Warise married in 1985 prior to him starting dental school. They have one daughter Madison.
	Patty Pearre, RDA Patty has been Dr. Tim Warise's dental assistant since 1992. She is certified in Restorative and Prosthetics, Coronal Polishing, and Nitrous monitoring. Patty has also attended numerous orthodontic courses. She is married to Jay and they have 2 daughters Nicole and Courtney and 1 grandson Caiden. Patty enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Jenny Heroux, RDA

Jenny has been a dental assistant since 1978. She moved here from Colorado in 1989 and became registered in Tennessee in 1990. She is certified in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring and Coronal polishing. She has been with our office since January 2001. Jenny is married to Mark and they have one son, Jeff. Jenny and her husband are members of Grace Lutheran Church in Murfreesboro. She has 2 dogs, Baron and Bailey. She enjoys traveling, taking their boat to the lake, wine tasting and digital photography.

April Wilson, Insurance Coordinator April has worked in our office since 1992. She has had a variety of job duties ranging from scheduling to insurance claims and payments but now handles all of our insurance claims. She is married to Steve and they have 2 sons, 1 stepdaughter , 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. April says she is very blessed!

Elissa Farris RDA

Elissa has been an assistant since 2005 and has worked with Warise Family Dentistry since May 2004.She is certified in sealants and nitrous monitoring. She has 1 daughter, Faith. Elissa enjoys motor cross and hanging out with friends in her spare time.

Crystal Barnes Receptionist

Crystal has been with Warise Family Dentistry since Feb 2005. She performs a variety of duties, including scheduling,payments, insurance verification and general office duties. She is married to Dante and they have 5 children and 4 grandchildren with more to come. Crystal enjoys traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Joy Hargrove RDH

Joy is a registered Dental hygienist and is certified in local anesthetic administration. Joy has been with our office since March 2007. She is originally from Alabama (Roll Tide!) and graduated from Wallace State College in 2000. Joy is married to Larry. Their family consists of two dogs, Allie and Rosey, and a cat named Belle. Joy enjoys shopping and attending Alabama football games.
